7 reasons to go and watch Taken 3 in cinema

Taken 3 has come back better, bigger and stronger compared to the second prequel. Here are 7 reasons to go and watch Taken 3:

1) Liam Neeson is a kick ass hero

Lets face it; Neeson is the number one reason you want to watch this film. He’s a bad ass man whom you don’t want to mess around with. He innovated the role of being a true hero and it’s a joy seeing him return to Taken. He’s a big and tall lad and possesses allot of masculinity without being stupid. What is simply like this, he is the man when it comes to action hero films. He’s leading action hero, a role, which wad dominated by Arnold.

He plays a kind and compassionate man, who has an ex-governmental operative background and is framed for killing his wife. He then goes on a mission to find out who killed his wife, hunt them down and kill them.

What a great motive that makes the audience root for Neeson.

2) It has ruthless Russians

Yes once again they’ve gone with Russians. The solution for making the hero, more of a hero is to give him more obstacles and a ruthless villain. Yes he’s Russian and is a barbarian. He’s been to war and doesn’t fear anyone or anything, well until Neeson pays him a visit.

What makes better villains or bad guys than Russians? Maybe vampires or monsters.

3) It is action packed

The main reasons go to watch a film like this is because of the action packed thriller and the film doesn’t fail to deliver. The stunts and actions are non-stop throughout the film. I must admit the film does have a few pot holes like in a scene where he reverses a car down a elevator which falls down and blow up, to my surprise he’s still alive. They don’t show how he escaped and survived.

However the sequence of action and fight scenes makes up for this small let down.

4) There is a strong sense of redemption

We see Mills go from good to no more Mr nice guy. After his wife’s murder and a sequence of escape scenes, we see Mills transform into a hard ass hero who is going to do what ever it takes to find his wife’s killer. He even slips into a bad boy leather jacket to make the complete change and makeover.

5) Great cinematography

The film was written and produced by the great Luc Beeson. He directed Lucy last year. It feels as if he actually directed this film. Surprisingly the cinematographer Nanci Roberts who has been involved in all of the Taken films, keeping the look and feel alike.

There’s some stunning scenery of Los Angeles. I really like the aerial view of the city, especially at night as the film begins.

It keeps going, giving you more. Just when you think it’s all over, it just keeps going and getting better. The film really gives you more without any stupid plots or twists. That’s what I like about action films.

Overall the film seems bland but it only comes to light due to Neesom’s performance. As mentioned you only want to watch Taken 3 because of Neeson, period!

7) A great end to the Taken trilogy

Every plot looks played now. First we had his daughter being kidnapped, then we had Mills and his wife being kidnapped and now his wife was murdered.

Now Mills can rest in peace and so can the audience. However there’s a very strange feeling that they’ll bring out Taken 4 but what will it be about? His daughter’s child being kidnapped for????

I don’t know about that. They should just end it there.

What do you think of Taken 3?
