Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs screenshots issued, release date confirmed

Frictional Games and The Chinese Room have finally set a concrete release date for Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, announcing that the first-person survival horror game will be released for the PC on 10 September. Developer upon an updated version of the HPL2 engine, the upcoming title promises stunning artwork, visual and environment design, incredible music and audio effects  consisting of a soundtrack by award-winning composer Jessica Curry, classic Amnesia gameplay (meaning no weapons), enhanced physics interaction and a spine-tingling dark horror experience.

The previous game succeeded in providing a truly blood-chilling heart-stopping survival horror experience for most gamers, including yours truly, and I for one am looking forward towards another hair-raising tale by the two indie studios. Additionally, GOG has an excellent scheme allowing 20% off on pre-orders, marking its price down to $15.99 prior to release.
