Dead Island 2 Announced, powered by Unreal Engine 4, planned for 2015 release

Deep silver has announced Dead Island 2, sequel to 2011’s Dead Island, coming to PS4, Xbox One and PC in spring 2015. The game is powered by Unreal Engine 4 and surprisingly being developed by Yager Studio, creators of tactical third-person cover shooter Spec-Ops: The Line. Dead Island 2 will feature seamless multiplayer where 8-player can co-op. Similar to the previous game in the series players will have to choose one of the classes available which are yet to be confirmed by the developer.
