Debut trailer of action-RPG platformer Death’s Gambit

Death’s Gambit is an all-new action-RPG featuring platforming elements being developed by White Rabbit. With an as yet unclear release date and unspecified platforms, the trailer is the sole piece of content we have to ascertain what the game looks like, and it looks good indeed.

Featuring work-in-progress footage, the video depicts an armoured character utilising sword, shield, bow and arrows against various enemies – ranging from knights to beasts – in the 2D sidescroller, which revolves around the player’s journey to defeat immortals inhabiting the realm. We also see the protagonist using a grapple and hook to latch on to different designated points of huge monsters as they amble around (not dissimilar to Shadow of the Colossus).
