Developer diary delves into the sound behind Alien: Isolation

Creative Assembly recently released a developer diary for the upcoming survival-horror title Alien Isolation. In the video below the team details the process they used to create the game’s audio. The developers put together their own orchestra, which includes some musician who worked with Jerry Goldsmith, the composer who played on the original film’s score. Apparently the studio have access to Ridley Scott’s original film sound recordings and recreated those sounds to get that right to add the level of fear and excitement the player will experience while exploring the space station. The game will also feature a dynamic sound engine which according Byron Bullock changes and adapts based on players and alien actions

Alien: Isolation will hit the stores on 7th October 7 for the PC , Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS4 and PS3.
