Distro Horizons Vs. Galaximo’s Army hits Kickstarter

UK-based Indie developer, Kitatus Studios has started a kickstarter campaign for their ambitious 3D Collectathon title, Distro Horizons VS Galaximo’s Army. The game is a throwback to classic N64 platformers such as Banjo Kazooie, Super Mario 64, Crash Bandicoot and Conker’s Bad Fur Day. Distro Horizons VS Galaximo’s Army promises to offer unique and interesting gameplay that  blends the best bits from the collectathon genre, with the touch of  current-gen video game features. An early alpha demo of the game is available for download on their Kickstarter page.

In the game players will assume the role of protagonist Distro, who along with his best friend Teddy, embarks on an epic journey to explore unique yet beautiful worlds and dimensions, where players are tasked to collect coins and hidden collectable items. Each level will have secrets areas to discover which grant various rewards such as in-game content, Concept art and Extra Videos. Distro will also gain certain abilities and special items throughout his journey which will help him to defeat the evil Galaximo.

Once the project is successfully funded,  the team at Kitatus Studios plan to release Distro Horizons on on PC, Mac,Linux and Ouya. Check out a short demo of the game below.
