E3 2013: Avalanche Studios announces Mad Max
Warner Bros Interactive have announced Mad Max, is a open-world third-person action game which is being developed by Avalanche Studios- the team behind another excellent open-world series Just Cause. Scheduled for release in 2014 for the PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4. In addition PlayStation 4 version will feature exclusive content, the Road Warrior Survival Kit. In Mad Max -players will assume the role of Max itself fighting for survival in the wasteland against the viscous gangs of bandits. The game will feature a mixture of action and vehicular combat
“The Wasteland lends itself incredibly well to the high level of player freedom with which Avalanche Studios has become synonymous,” said Sundberg in the press release. “This unforgiving environment inspired us to create a gritty and diverse experience where driving, fighting and scavenging are essential for survival.”
Mad Max places gamers directly into the driver’s seat of their ultimate customised vehicle to battle it out in the action-packed, open world of The Wasteland,” said Samantha Ryan, Senior Vice President, Production & Development, Warner Bros.
