Escape Dead Island, a survival mystery game, announced for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360

Deep Silver has announced another Dead Island game called Escape Dead Island coming to the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 this fall. The new entry in the Dead Island franchise will serve as a prequel which takes places between the events of Dead Island 1 and 2.

Players will assume the role of Cliff Calo, the son of a wealthy media mogul, who travels to the quarantined island of Narapela to get to the bottom of the gruesome events that took place in the original game. Escape Dead Island is a story driven plot where game’s protagonist Calo will struggle against his own psyche as he attempts to escape the island.

The game features comic-style visually that accompanies cliff’s surreal situations. The gameplay is more focused on stealth and surreal which means lot of time you will be sneaking around rather than running and gunning.
