Lady Hammerlock joining Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel roster from 27 January; screenshots, lengthy gameplay video here

Lady Hammerlock will be the next playable character added to the roster in Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel on 27 January, with the DLC to arrive in Asia and Europe on 28 January; we also have some screenshots and a trailer focusing on Lady Aurelia the Baroness AKA Sir Hammerlock’ sister.

Also those who are seeking to acquire the Borderlands Handsome Collection can rest reassured that the edition of the game will include all Season Pass content, such as the Lady Hammerlock DLC pack.

The downloadable content can be purchased separately for $9.99 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3, though gamers who have the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Season Pass need not worry, as this is included in it. The images also highlight her progression branch, which has the Contractual Aristocracy, Cold Money and Huntress trees: the latter is a sniping-oriented one, wherein players can unlock a skill that nets significant critical hit bonus for each successful (non-miss) consecutive shot, the Cold Money tree includes the Winteride skill which lets all weapons deal Cryo damage upon killing an enemy, while Contractual Aristocracy allows her to gain bonuses from kills meted out by a teammate.

Her action skill is Cold As Ice, wherein a Frost Diadem Shard spawns, tracks down enemies and latches on to them, subsequently doling out constant damage until their demise, following which it moves on to the next opponent. Now check out more than 20 minutes of gameplay it eh video below, thanks to IGN, featuring the new DLC with Gearbox writer Anthony Burch. But before you do that, a slight update on the fourth and final add-on pack in the Season Pass for Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel; it will consist of an all-new campaign that will take place inside the mind of the series’ iconic beloved robotic character Claptrap (expect insanity and hilarity!).
