Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PC v/s PS4 comparison screenshots illustrate visual differences

Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will sneak onto the PC on 18 December, which is why NVIDIA has posted a few screenshots comparing the upcoming PC version of the third-person tactical stealth-action title with its PS4 iteration.

The 1920×1080 screenshots clearly highlight the enhanced lighting and reflections in the night-time mission in which the protagonist looks upon the military installation, and then infiltrates it amidst rain weather. For a better side-by-side slider tool comparison, check out the Nvidia article here, and also feel free to scrutinise the impressive list of improvements in the PC version below.

  • 60 FPS frame rate
  • Additional deferred lights per scene
  • Additional shadows per scene
  • Higher-resolution render targets
  • Higher-resolution shadows
  • Increased detail over distances
  • NVIDIA SLI Multi-GPU support
  • Options to adjust seven graphics features (Effects, Lighting, Screen Filtering, Shadows, Texture Filtering, Textures)
  • Resolution support up to and including 3840×2160 (4K)
  • Screen Space Reflections
