Rainbow Six: Siege Closed Beta registrations now open

Ubisoft has announced that gamers can now register at http://rainbow6.ubi.com/siege/ for a shot at getting in the upcoming closed Beta for Rainbow Six: Siege.

This differs vastly from the closed Alpha as the latter was PC-exclusive, while the Beta will be for the Xbox One and PS4 as well. While the Alpha involves a very early build of a game in which a limited number of players test for bugs and stability to provide essential community feedback, the Beta – which will have more content and be better optimised – allows for a larger number of players who will test for matchmaking issues, server stability, changes necessary in the way of game balancing and so on.

A final point to note is that those who pre-order the game get guaranteed access to the closed beta.
