Republique Remastered hits PC, Mac on 26 February

Camouflaj has revealed that Republique Remastered will soon be available for the PC and Mac, from 26 February to be precise, from GOG, the Humble Store and of course Steam. One can choose between the standard edition costing $24.99 and the deluxe edition priced at $34.99; the latter also includes an hour-long making of documentary, the game’s complete soundtrack and two early prototypes. Both these versions will be available at a 20% discount during the launch week.

The single-player third-person stealth-focused episodic game from the Seattle-based indie studio sees players attempting to guide the main character Hope, controlling surveillance cameras to oversee her actions and indulging in a bit of hacking to unlock doors, distract patrols and acquire intel.

The game is set in a fictional totalitarian state titled République, wherein experiments are being conducted on people born and raised in a facility called Metamorphosis; Hope is one of those subjects who attempts to escape the mysterious installation. The image below illustrates the differences between the Unity 4 and 5 versions of the game.
