Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition PC comparison screenshots detail visual improvements

While most of you PC survival horror fans are eagerly awaiting Resident Evil 4 Ultimate HD Edition’s release in February, we have a bunch of new images of the same to ease the pain of the wait. The screenshots show off various scenes from the game, and illustrate the visual improvements seen in the use of HD Textures compared to the previous SD Textures.

Scrutinising the screens reveals differences in graphical quality in Leon’s jacket, trees, wooden boards etc; most of these were taken at 1920×1080, though the developers have assured that this remastered edition supports resolutions upto 2560×1600 and 2560×1440 to sate your enthusiast widescreen needs, and a couple of images point topwards that as well as the video options one can expect.  The game is currently scheduled for release on Steam on 28 February for around $20; check out the official announcement trailer here to view the game in action.
