SOMA gets new trailer, screenshots showcasing atmospheric environment

Frictional Games has sent forth a new trailer as well as an accompanying batch of screenshots focusing on the environment in SOMA.

The trailer illustrates the interior as well as exterior of PATHOS-II, an underwater facility wherein the game takes place. The first-person horror title sees trouble brewing in the isolated installation, as communications are disrupted and the machines housed in the facility believe that they have consciousness and are people. SOMA, which focuses on exploration, puzzle-solving and atmospheric horror rather than “jump-scares”, launches on 22 September on the PC and PS4.
