UE4-powered Insurgency: Sandstorm coming to PC, consoles in 2017

New World Interactive and Focus Home Interactive have announced Insurgency: Sandstorm, an FPS set to arrive for the PC, Xbox One and PS4 in 2017.

Set in the Middle East, the military shooter will offer a story mode that will commence around the invasion of Iraq in 2003 and continue to feature events including the insurrection and onwards. Of course, there will also be multiplayer and cooperative gameplay. The game will be powered by Unreal Engine 4, and focus on delivering a “gritty, visceral combat experience” that is immersive.
