Way of the Samurai 4 PC launch is on 23 July
Ghostlight Games has revealed that Way of the Samurai 4 has received a final release date for the PC, with it all set to launch on the platform on 23 July for $24.99, though those who intend to take advantage of a pre-purchase discount of 40% should proceed as soon as possible.
Set in the mid-19th century in the port of Amihama, players will assume the role of a samurai without a master who can support either of three powerful factions in the region; there’s the shogunate pro-government who intend to have diplomatic ties with the West, the nationalists who would rebuff any such attempt and focus on maintain the traditional way of life, and the British Navy which would ostensibly seek to establish trade.
Developed and published in Japan by Acquire and Spike Chunsoft, the third-person action-adventure boasts of storylines with differing endings with decisions you make having consequences, character customisation, dynamic combat with melee and gunpower-based weaponry and bonus DLC.
