Bloodborne – Concept Art, Screenshots & Chalice Dungeons details

From Software has followed through on its promise and revealed new information and media on Bloodborne, their PS4-exclusive third-person action RPG.

The developers have posted some titbits about Chalice Dungeons, a new feature of the game that was recently unveiled, which sees layers exploring vast ancient underground ruins underneath the city of Yharnam. Entering these locations requires the use of holy chalices, and while they have several secrets to discover, they dungeons also abound with horrifying creatures and deadly traps.

Adding to the replayability factor of the Chalice Dungeons is the fact that the dungeons will be somewhat procedurally generated, as their structure will change each time the portal is opened, which should keep things interesting and make every playthrough challenging. The images highlight the distinctive locales, from brightly light halls to dark corridors and swamps, as well as the some of the unfriendly inhabitants (ancient guard dog, ritual masters, protectors etc) one will likely encounter during their travels here.
