Announcement trailer, images of Compulsion Games’ We Happy Few

Compulsion Games has finally parted the curtains to unveil We Happy Few, its project which it eased with some concept art a few weeks back.

The trailer depicts the setting of the game, which takes place in an alternative 1960s English town called Wellington Wells whose inhabitants are a bit of the creepy sort, with eerily cheerful painted facemasks, drugs to keep them in the mood that they are and some rules that are not meant to be broken. The video shows what could happen to those who don’t fit in and “join the fun”.

The developers will display the title at booth #6216 at PAX East in Boston (US) from 6 to 8 March; those who are lucky enough to visit the site may even have a change of being invited to join the pre-alpha.
