Arena of Fate Is Crytek’s MOBA

Arena of Fate, an upcoming MOBA which has been developed by Crytek’s Sofia studio powered by CryEngine. The game features five-on-five battle where you assume the role of legendary heroes. Crytek has planned total of 30 character but right now they have revealed only 15 characters including Little Red Riding Hood, Fenrir, Jack The Ripper, King Richard The Lionheart, Arachne, Blackbeart, Grendel, the Chupacabra, Baron Samedi, Polyphemus, Van Helsing, Robin Hood, Joan of Arc and Frankenstein. So… you must be wondering how it is different from other games in the same genre. According to Producer David Bowman Arena of Fate is not a traditional MOBA as it is more focused on tactics rather than ‘exploits and min-maxing.’ Each battle in will last for maximum of 20 minutes, which Crytek considers makes the game more sports-like. You can actually sign up for the game’s early access beta on the official website, which will start sometime in summer.
