CryEngine-based WW2 FPS Enemy Front gets Gorgeous New Screenshots

CI Games has issued a trio of screenshots from Enemy Front, its WW2 FPS being developed for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 using CryEngine, which – as the screenshots indicate  – means that one can expect gorgeous visuals at the very least. The game puts players in the boots of  US war correspondent Robert Hawkins who joins up with the Resistance in Europe and engages Nazi forces in locations across the continent such as France, Germany and Norway.

The developers have said that the gameplay style is what one chooses to make of it; use your sniping skills to pick off the enemy from afar, or get up close and personal with SMGs, grenades and assault rifles to decimate the enemy; of course, there’s always the stealthier approach for those who are patient and want to catch their opponents unaware. Furthermore, destructible environments, open-ended levels and advanced AI should make for some fun and challenging times ahead, with Enemy Front offering around 10 hours worth of gameplay in the singleplayer campaign and 12-player multiplayer support. Keep checking back with us for more on this multiplatform title, but for now, enjoy the images below!
