Dark Souls II has an official tagline – Go Beyond Death
The website for the upcoming third-person action RPG Dark Souls II has updated with a new tagline for the title – “Go Beyond Death”. Yes, very appropriate that, given the notorious difficulty of the franchise and that the slogan for the previous game in the series – Dark Souls – was “Prepare to Die”. Publisher Namco Bandai Games had recently opened a online poll asking fans to choose the slogan; guess we now know which one secured the most votes. The other choices were – Transcend Death, Into the Beyond, Survive Death and Sacrifice Everything.
Yep, nothing like a grim slogan to get you in the mood for some hardcore RPG action. From Software is developing Dark Souls 2 for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3; a release date hasn’t been specified though we expect it may arrive around late 2013, early 2014. Meanwhile, GameTrailers is expected to reveal a bit more on the title – quite possibly a gameplay debut trailer – on 11 April; check back around then for the latest update.
