Evolve Survival Guide Trailer briefs you on all you need to know

Turtle Rock and 2K have unleashed a detailed eight-minute trailer for Evolve, outlining all that you need to know in order to take on your foe in the 4v1 action game set on the planet Shear.

The clip lays out the premise of the game, which sees four human players attempting to track down and defeat a monster even as the latter, which is also player controlled, seeks to consume and evolve/levels up into more powerful versions of itself so that it can decimate the hunters. There are four different types of monsters – the Goliath, Kraken, Wraith and the Behemoth – though the latter is a separate DLC free for those who pre-order it, and costing $14.99 if you purchase it post-launch.

There are also at least three different teams of hunters (more expected in future DLC) , with the main classes being Assault, Medic, Support and Trapper, with players needing to work together to win. Assault is all about bringing the pain, the Trapper can contain the monster in a temporary dome/arena, Support uses heavy weapons and boosts players while the Medic is pretty self-explanatory.
