Here’s some footage from a cancelled stealth-action game starring Darth Maul

Red Fly Studio was working on a stealth-action game set in the Star Wars universe with  Darth Maul as the main character; however, it seems that the unannounced title was cancelled back in 2011 supposedly due to Disney acquiring Lucasfilm and LucasArts. For those unfamiliar with the character, Darth Maul is a Sith Lord who appears in Episode I: The Phantom Menace as well as the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The game would have arrived on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U if it had been completed. Sadly all we can do now is check out the demo reel featuring animations by Matt Schmitz below and hope that those elements are incorporated into a new and better Star Wars game down the line. You can also check out some exclusive concept art from the game at Game Informer.
