High-Res Screenshots of Rise of the Tomb Raider
Some high-resolution screenshots of Rise of the Tomb Raider have made their way out into the wild (internet), and you can scrutinise them at your leisure here.
The images depict the adventurer in snowy Siberia, facing an enraged bear about to swipe a paw at her, looking at an avalanche covering a mountainside, using her ice pick while scaling a mountain with a companion (Jonah Maiava?), lighting a flare to explore a cave and in front of a ruin on the side of a mountain. The game boasts of dynamic weather in addition to a day-night cycle, which should make things interesting and varied.
The game is being developed by Crystal Dynamics for the Xbox One, while the Xbox 360 version is being ported by Nixxes Software.
