Meet the four villains of Transistor in its launch trailer

While there have been several media updates from Supergiant Games on their scifi action-RPG, the main antagonists have remained largely a mystery….until now. Transistor is nearing its release on the PC and PS4 on 20 May for $19.99/€18.99/£14.99, and so we have the launch trailer shedding some light on the “four problems” that protagonist Red and her titular sword must “resolve”. The clip shows off a bit of gameplay and also gives us a quick look at the weapon’s various upgradable slot effects (active, passive) and functions.

That beautiful music playing in the background is a track called “Old Friends” from the game’s original soundtrack, which is priced at $9.99 for the digital version and $14.99 for digital + CD. It can also be purchased stand-alone from Steam or from their official website store.
