TGS 2013: Dark Souls II release date, Pre-order bonuses and Collector’s editions confirmed, ‘Aching Bones’ Trailer and screenshots released

The Tokyo Game Show madness continues with lots of news surrounding Namco Bandai and From Software’s hazardously difficult third-person action-RPG Dark Souls II. First off, we now have a concrete release date; the game arrives on 11 March in North America, 13 March in Japan and the following day across Europe for the Xbox 360 and PS3; PC dudes will unfortunately have to wait a bit before they can challenge themselves. Secondly, we have a smashing new trailer below (if you already didn’t notice).

Next is the announcement of the Black Armor Edition Pre-Order Bonus for the game; this will consist of a free Collectible Metal Case with a unique Warrior Knight box art and the Original Game Soundtrack composed by Motoi Sakuraba, all of course in addition to the base game. However, if you want to splurge, there’s always the Collector’s Edition pictured below, which includes a 12-inch solid PV Warrior Knight figurine in a custom printed display box with a transparent window, an exclusive hardbound artbook, a full-colour microfiber game map, and the main game itself.
