Ultra Street Fighter IV Announcement Trailer is here
As promised, Capcom has released the announcement trailer for the new version of Street Fighter IV, while also elaborating a bit on the content of as well as the gameplay balance changes this update brings. First off, this edition of the fighting game is called Ultra Street Fighter IV and it adds new characters, stages costumes and more; view our earlier article for the full deets and cost.
What we do know now is that it will arrive in early 2014, and the developers have given us some examples of the planned character rebalances. Beautiful but deadly Chun-Li has received an HP boost to 950 as well as more chances to knockdown on hit allowing for a more offensive build. Meanwhile Balrog has also been given a shot in the arm for his aggressive playstyle, with a longer range for Dirty Bull, reduced recovery time for Buffalo head and decreased charge time for higher levels of Turn Around Punch. Improvements to Dudley include additional damage on all target combos and bigger hitbox on enemies. THawk gets faster walk speed, improvements to Ultra 2 while the Crouching middle kick is now special cancellable. So all that should give you an idea of what to expect in terms of playstyle changes and battle balance.
