United Front Games confirm new ‘Sleeping Dogs Universe’ based game in development

Following the success of Sleeping Dogs, United Front Games have been relatively quiet about upcoming projects, though they have issued several DLC’s for the third-person open-world action game. Now they have finally chosen to break their silence, and have announced that they are working on Triad Wars, a new title set in the same Sleeping Dogs universe, along with Square Enix. Unfortunately, that’s all they have decided to reveal so far, and have said they will keep mum on the subject until next year.

Given the tons of fun I had with Sleeping Dogs, which I found superior to the GTA series in some aspects (Gasp…blasphemy I know), I can’t wait to see what they are cooking up next. One of the best aspects of Sleeping Dogs was its unique blend of the east-meets-west style and setting in Hong Kong, and I guess we can expect more of the same if its set in the same universe. We’ll bring you more news on this as and when it emerges.
