Wasteland 2 gets some concept art, in-engine screenshot

InXile Entertainment has issued a couple of pieces of concept artwork as well as an in-engine screenshot of Wasteland 2, further increasing our anticipation when it comes to this PC-exclusive post-apocalyptic tactical RPG. The art shows two of the characters I am guessing players will encounter during their journey; one of them appears to be a hillbilly toting a double-barrelled shotgun, while the other dude wielding a blowtorch seems to be a member of the Desert Rangers faction.

Meanwhile, the screenshot is of a town called Damonta in Arizona built upon the ruins of an old military facility known as the DAvis-MONThAn Air Force Base, given it its current title; the area seems to contain a motel, bar, garage, diner, Fly-By Nightclub etc while also touted to be a major scavenging center due to the old airplane graveyard. Don’t forget to check out this video for a detailed look at the game’s inventory management system. Wasteland 2 is currently on track for an October 2013 release.
