Assassin’s Creed: Unity launch trailer – better late than never

Yes, I know, it has been a few days since the launch of Ubisoft’s third-person open-world action-adventure set in the French Revolution, but for those who are still on the fence about whether to pick it up, or just want to know more, here is the launch trailer for Assassin’s Creed: Unity.

The trailer sees protagonist Arno despatching numerous enemies on rooftops and in catacombs, while also giving us glimpses at the key characters in the game, such as the hedonistic Marquis de Sade and Napoléon Bonaparte. The free-running and combat mechanics have been further refined compared to the previous games in the series, as illustrated in the clip.

Of course, the introduction of co-op means that one doesn’t need to fight against oppression alone in 18th century Paris. For those interested in the music, its “Ready to Fight” by Roby Fayer & Tom Gefen.
