Ubisoft Montreal have been gracious enough to issue a new video for Watch Dogs, elaborating the multitude of methods trench coat-donning protagonist Aiden Pearce can employ to perpetrate digital chaos – all towards a good objective mind you. Titled ‘CTOS Threat Monitoring Report’ the clip shows off some previously displayed gameplay with a twist, this time showing off footage mixed with video/surveillance cameras as part of a report by the authorities in Chicago, in which they elaborate on the players ability to breach network systems using illegal hacks accessing bank and email accounts, databases providing him with names, salaries, occupations and other such bits of private information of the populace.

The narrator also hints that they are not the only ones monitoring Pearce’s activities, as he withdraws money from an ATM after hacking the account of a political lobbyist, provides some timely intervention so as to prevent a domestic dispute involving a teacher with a restraining order against an abusive ex-husband from seriously escalating after receiving a CTOS (Central Operating System) report of a potential crime, and successfully evades the police shooting out the tyres of a cop car and hacks the transit system.
