Batman: Arkham Origins confirmed; arrives in October on PC, major consoles

Warner Bros. Games Montreal has officially confirmed that it is developing the next title in the Batman franchise; named Batman: Arkham Origins, the action game is currently set for release on 25 October on the PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and Wii U. Given the title, it appears that Arkham Origins will take place several years prior to the events of the Arkham Asylum and Arkham City games.
