Deep Silver announces Secret Files: Sam Peters for PC
Well Deep Silver is on a roll today! Shortly after confirming the release date of arcade shooter Narco Terror, they have announced a new PC-exclusive digital download only game titled Secret Files: Sam Peters. The game, which is set for release on 27 September and will cost €9.99, marks a new standalone spinoff point and click adventure title focusing on reporter Sam Peters (from Secret Files 2) and her journey to Africa, wherein she attempts to solve the mystery surrounding the strange life forms that inhabit Lake Bosumtwi – which was formed by an ancient meteor crash.
The last game in the series I played was Secret Files: Tunguska back in 2006 on my PC, and though it had some flaws it was overall an excellent adventure game by Fusionsphere Systems and Animation Arts. So its definitely good to see that the franchise is still alive and kicking.
