Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Box Art, Collector’s Edition and pre-order incentives announced

Square Enix has revealed the official box art as well as the Collector’s Edition for their MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, which arrives on the PC and PS3 on 27 August with a monthly subscription rate starting at $12.99. They have also revealed various pre-order incentives customers can gain access to if they decide to purchase this game prior to its launch such as the Cait Sith non-combat pet who joins your party, an ingame Moogle themed hat, and of course, early access to the vibrant world of Eorzea.

Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn Box Art, Collector’s Edition and pre-order incentives announced Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition will contain a collector’s box designed by famous Final Fantasy artist Yoshitaka Amano, an 80-page hardcover art book featuring never-before-seen concept art called “Art of Eorzea”, a special bonus video disc called “The Waning of the Sixth Sun” that looks at events that led up to the realm being reborn, the “Sounds of Eorzea” album featuring musical scores by renowned Final Fantasy series composers, five collectable character art cards, a Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn-branded security token to secure user accounts, and several in-game bonus items such as the Helm of Light, Baby Behemoth Minion, Coeurl Mount and Behemoth Barding.
