Hitman: Absolution gets new featured platform-specific contracts on PC, Consoles

IO Interactive and Square Enix’s third-person stealth-action game receives new featured contracts today; the PC version takes the bald-headed badass to a haunted house, the Xbox 360 features him in a donut shop massacre while the PS3 edition sees Agent 47 facing a pyromaniac ice cream seller. It’s always nice to see fresh content for a game even after a long time following its release; Hitman: Absolution was released in November 2012 on the aforementioned platforms.

The downloadable content emerges amidst Square Enix’s assurances that the franchise was alive and well, and that a next-gen Hitman title is in the works by IO Interactive. We have always enjoyed Agent 47’s outings, and planning and executing a target’s assassination while attempting to remain stealthy made for several hours of entertainment in Absolution. We are eager to see what lies next for the dome-headed agent.
