Mortal Kombat X officially announced, debut trailer released

NetherRealm studios has finally lifted the lid on the next Mortal Kombat Game. According to a post on twitter, Ed Boon said the game is officially known as Mortal Kombat X. The game’s debut trailer has also been released which features an awesome one-on-one fight between two of the most popular characters of the series Sub Zero and Scorpion. We get to see lot of bone cracking, internal organs X-ray moves and they are just beating the hell out of each other. It seems the game is in the veins of Injustice: Gods Among Us as we see Sub Zero ripping off the branch of the tree and using his power to convert it into an ice mace, which confirms some of elements form Injustice God Among us will also be incorporated.

Mortal Kombat X is scheduled to be released in 2015 and according to Amazon retail listings, it will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4 and PC.
