Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2014 Trailer details game features

Next up on today’s list is a six-minute long trailer (if you can get through the dubstep music!) for Pro Evolution Soccer (PES) 2014, expanding on the various features of the upcoming football game, which arrives on 20 September on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3. First off, the game is being built using the Fox Engine, so expect some next-gen visuals, from more detailed emotional reactions to the beads and streams of sweat on the players faces, to more realistic lighting in stadiums and higher-quality textures even on footballs and kits.

When it comes to gameplay TrueBall Tech allows for enhanced ball control range to 360 degrees and a wider range, Barycenter lets you control the player’s weight shift and ball separately, resulting in more realistic movement. The Motion Animation Stability System (M.A.S.S.) enables enhanced realism when it comes to physical interaction between the players. Changes to Team play include the addition of Combination Play, wherein one can set a group of three or more players to tactically move on certain parts on the pitch.

Furthermore, real-time player motivation means that the user’s actions affect the entire teams emotional level, which impacts crowd noise and commentary, which translates into the behaviour and gestures of the player etc. Also, the Player ID feature will expand to twice the numbers compared to PES 2013; watch the video to know more about what the game holds.
