Rhelmar is the player’s elven ranger companion in Bound by Flame
We already know about the witch who accompanies players in Spiders Studios’ upcoming action RPG, and today we have a bit more info on Rhelmar, a former criminal/elf ranger who also joins up with the protagonist in Bound by Flame. What sets him apart from his kind is that he chooses to spite the principle of neutrality that his race holds dear, and instead openly participates in the conflict against the Deadarmy.
Guided by his own sense of justice whilst being treated as an outcast by his own, the expert archer is also pretty handy with a dagger, making him extremely useful in ranged as well as close quarters combat. In Bound by Flame, the choices the player makes also results in him developing friendships, rivalries and even romances with other characters in the party (think Dragon Age). As in any goo combat RPG, its best to choose your party with members whose skills complement your own, so a mage/witch and an archer might be good options if you choose to focus on melee-oriented combat.
