RPG Celestian Tales: Old North Character Concept Artworks and Details

Ekuator Games’ traditional narrative-driven RPG for the PC Celestian Tales: Old North features six distinctive playable characters, each with a unique personality, traits, combat style, equipment and multiple conclusions for their storylines. Today we intend to present some artwork as well as info on these characters, each of which should provide for more than 20 hours of gameplay time according to the developers.

Aria Geraldine is a Tactician and a Guardian who is also the best healing character, therefore best utilised in a support role; at the same time, she also dons medium armour and wields a sword with holy strength, which means she can dish out some damage and take some as well. She is a true follower of the Church of Deus Valarus, and is the youngest daughter of Baron Gareth Geraldin, an affluent individual in the Old North.

Cammile Ryne is a useful Trickster armed with a crossbow, which means that she excels at ranger combat and can inflict negative status effects on opponents, thereby providing the players with a useful tactical combat option. Although yearning to travel the world and seeing all that it has to offer, her role as daughter to House Ryne ties her down with obligations of governing the realm.

Lucienne Leroux is a true knight, bred to be one from an early age and a master at warfare with the shield and spear, which means that she boasts of the highest defence rating allowing her to protect herself and her allies. Her secondary role as a Trickster allows her to employ unorthodox but extremely useful moves such as shield bash to stun foes or targeting their legs to reduce their speed,

Reed was born the son of a farmer, facing concerns such as bandits and poor harvests while growing up, knowing that his future was restricted by the strict caste system in place. However, his role as a Slayer means that he can perpetrate rapid attacks in succession on the enemy, and his skills as a Trickster allow him to exploit the vulnerabilities of his opponents, reduce their effectiveness or bleed them to their gradual demise.

Reynard de la Forêt is also a Slayer, but one who focuses on dishing out damage, though this also results in less hit points, lower defences and inaccurate attacks. He can offset this a bit by donning heavy armour due to his second role as a Guardian. Nicknamed as ‘Butcher’ due to his numerous battles with beasts of the forest, Reynard’s strength means that he deals the most damage in the group.

Finally, Ylianne is the biracial child of a human farmer and an elven maiden, who intends to become a knight worthy of her mother’s pride. She is a member of the long-dwelling Clan Valandyr tribes of elves who live in the forest in harmony with nature. As a Tactician, Ylianne excels in speed and teamwork, allowing allies to use special attacks more frequently and accurately. Her secondary role as Slayer allows her to deal ranged damage with her bow via accurate shots or a hail of arrows.
