Strider gets a release date, new screenshots and two new gameplay modes revealed

Capcom’s side-scrolling action platformer, Strider has finally got a release date and will be available on 18^th February for PS4 and PS3 (via PSN), while the Xbox 360 and Xbox One version of the game will arrive a day later–19^th February (via XBLA) and for the PC via (Steam). Capcom has also revealed two all-new challenge modes– Beacon Run which is a checkpoint race where you have to reach the goal in best possible time while slicing through enemies. Survival Mode– it is an arena based mode where players are equipped with different items and ability load outs, tasked to clear the waves of enemies .

Both the challenge mode as well as the story mode will feature global online leaderboard where you can check and compare your score with other players. Take a look screenshots below which depict new game modes.
