Sunset Overdrive trailer details explosive weapons pack

Insomniac Games has issued a trailer to mark the release of a new weapons pack for the open-world third-person action-adventure Sunset Overdrive.

The add-on is priced at 3.99/$4.99, though Season Pass owners will get this for free; it brings four new weapons to wreak mayhem in the Xbox One-exclusive title. First off, there the Plague Bomb which damages affected enemies over time and causes them to explode in the end, thereby spreading the disease to other foes in the vicinity. The Rager unleashes a cloud that confuses your opponents and results in them attacking each other, before exploding of course.

Meanwhile, Shield Buddy is a versatile item, as it activates a shield that protects the player and his allies while also unleashing deadly bombs on enemies. Finally, the Multi-Lock Rocket Launcher lets one simultaneously lock on to upto eight targets before deploying a swarm of homing rockets at those soon-to-meet-their-doom.
