Terrifying new trailer for The Evil Within emerges from PAX

An all-new video has emerged just ahead of Penny Arcade eXpo (PAX) on 11-13 April for Tango Gameworks and Bethesda Softworks’ survival horror game, in which Detective Sebastien Castellanos sees a world gone wrong where he encounters numerous monstrosities. Several new locations are shown for the first time, and we also see what happens when the protagonist fails to takedown the intimidating Boxman.

A fair bit of the gameplay as well as enemies and locations are reminiscent of Resident Evil 4, which is a good thing in my books. Expect to terrified when The Evil Within releases on 26 August in North America and 29 August in Europe for the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4.
