The Evil Within new concept art emerges

A new batch of concept art for Bethesda’s upcoming survival-horror title The Evil Within has emerged online. The images below, which were posted on CGHub by freelancer artist Lu Cheng, reveal the game’s post-apocalyptic setting and it seems this time around, Shinji Mikami is aiming at something bigger than the usual “Raccoon City epidemic” setting. Check out the images below which portray some of the varied locations where protagonist Sebastian Castellanos will be travelling to while attempting to survive all sorts of horrors. The locales include places such as “Mansion“, “Catacombs“, “Church”, Hotel“, “Basement“ and “Subway”.

The game is being powered by id’s Tech 5 engine and is set for launch in 2014 for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3 and PS4.
