Tom Clancy’s The Division postponed to 2015

After teasing us with a screenshot from Tom Clancy’s The Division, Ubisoft has now hit those of us looking forward to the shooter with some bad news; the online-oriented co-op based multiplatform title has been delayed. The game, which was scheduled to arrive later this year, is now on track for release in 2015. The developers have stated that they “don’t want to compromise on quality”, which is why The Division is being delayed.

While the announcement is a bit of a downer, it shouldn’t really be a surprise for those keeping rack if it, considering how we have hardly seen much media in recent months except for the trickle of screenshots. Hopefully, the additional time taken by the developers will ensure that we have a much more stable and polished game that not only meets but manages to surpass our expectations.
