20-minutes of new gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue shows naval warfare, new side missions and more

Today we have all new gameplay footage of Assassin’s Creed: Rogue which was showcased at EGX London. This nearly 25-minute gameplay video shows off naval battles, settlement capture, which is basically similar to fort attacks from Assassin’s Creed 3, some of the new side missions and more.

In the first part of the video, we see Shay in control of a new ship called Morigan which is being attacked by French ships. Shay uses some of the new of weapons of his ship such as carronades which fires explosive shots, puckle gun and  fire barrel to sink them down. Remember those assassination contract missions from the pigeon coops? In Assassin’s Creed Rogue you can stop these assassination by capturing the pigeon which will mark an area on the map where someone is going to get assassinated. These are timed missions where you have to use your eagle sense to find assassin in disguise and eliminate them before they kill assassinate their target.

Check out the video below. Assassin’s Creed: Rogue will hit the stores on 11th of November for Xbox 360 and PS3. While there are certain rumor that the game will also release for the PC.
