Sniper Elite 4 pre-alpha gameplay footage

Eurogamer were recently invited by Rebellion to check out the hands-off demo of Sniper Elite 4. The new gameplay video is captured from the pre-alpha build of the game and features six minutes of Sniper Elite 4 goodness.

The upcoming entry of the stealth action series, encourages open-ended play as it features much bigger maps than any of the previous Sniper Elite games. The protagonist Karl Fairburne, an elite covert Ops agent has become more agile with abilities such as mantle ledges, climb walls and use the vantage point to his advantage. This time around you can plant an explosive on a dead body to make a booby trap, a new shrapnel X-ray kill cam has also been added, where shooting an explosive barrel, will make its splinter fly into the soldiers standing close to it. Killing an enemy with a knife also triggers the X-ray kill cam. How fascinating.

The release date is not confirmed yet all we know is that, Sniper Elite 4 is coming to PC, Xbox One and PS4 in 2016
