Deadpool new screens reveal more characters that will appear in the game

New screenshots of Deadpool the game have surfaced online which show the merc with the (unstoppable) mouth taking out a number of enemies and most importantly revealing three new characters that will appear in the game. These three characters are Archlight, Blockbuster and Vertigo. The other two characters that were previously announced for the game are Pyslocke and Sinister. It seems the game will also have some sort of sneak mechanic as one of the screen below shows Deadpool approaching his target stealthily from the rear and about to take down an unaware enemy.

The game is being published by Activision and developed by High Moon Studios, who are very well known for the Transformers series. The Deadpool game is described as third-person action which revolves around Marvel Comic’s anti-hero, a mercenary with cynical humour who employs his own methods to achieve certain goals. The humour-filled brawler will hit the stores on 25 June in North America and three days after on 28 June in Europe for the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.
