Geralt’s armour illustrated in fresh The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Concept Art

A monster hunter/slayer doesn’t only rely on weapons and magic to get the job done; to successfully complete his mission in one piece, he requires protection which only armour can provide. Awesome though he may be, Geralt of Rivia AKA the White Wolf is no different, and so we have the following images depicting at least some of the protective clothing that he can don in CD Projekt RED’s open-world RPG.

If the concept art below is any indicator, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will feature numerous sets of armour unlike the previous games in the series which contained only a few sets of armour. Which one appeals to you? Given Geralt’s propensity for combat and freedom of movement, the obvious lack of a full piece of plate armour/chainmail isn’t exactly unexpected; this aint Dark Souls after all.
