Ryse: Son of Rome Mars’ Chosen Pack DLC Features New Survival Mode, Maps and More

Ryse: Son of Rome will be getting a new DLC titled Mars’ Chosen Pack. The DLC includes a new skin, maps and a new game co-op survival mode. According to an interview with Xbox Wire, the DLC will be free for season pass owners and $8.99 for everyone else. The new survival mode pits two players co-operatively in the arena where you have to defeat the waves of barbarians. However there is a twist your health will be depleting constantly and the only way to gain health is by killing and pulling executions. The longer you survive, the faster your health deplete.

The DLC will feature new Legionary character skin and four maps. Two of which, Firestorm and Dockyard are specifically designed for the new mode. While the other two are based on an ancient Egypt setting.
